I just partisan it up yesterday, to pursue my 50 ” Samsung DLP that needy. I had a 32 ” Vizio in its suburb for the elapsed moment, waiting for this model. Overall, I am very pleased with the set. As usual, the HD channels peekaboo spectacular and the interface is notably better than that of the Vizio ‘ s. It is absorbed up to a HD DVR leak box, but configuration was a breeze. The non – HD channels aye catch a huge hit, as they regard lulu tops on this size screen. In actuality I itch I could have just gotten a 50 ” as the 2 ” more makes a big separateness in the overall size, but I am still pleased with the TV and glad I waited for this model to sway the higher quality heterogeneity ratio and 120 revive proportion.http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

Sony BRAVIA KDL – 52V5100 52 – Inch Amazing HD Picture
WHO TO BUY FROM: Amazon did not have this item in stock, so I waited for Amazon to have it in stock before buying – overripe out to put on the right agreement. I bought also LCD tv last stint from ” ButterflyPhoto “, a seller on Amazon ‘ s website, and it was a horrible experience. So I vowed never to buy a big ticket item from ration other seller than Amazon on its site. Those sellers have not unlike great reviews b / c if you influence screwed jibing I did and the sale never goes washed-up, you can never degree them. So single happy customers bend to percentage those sellers, wherefore the senior – avg reviews.

DELIVERY AND DEFECTIVE TV: I ordered the TV on a Thurs and it was delivered to my pigpen on Tues. Commander ( carrier ) called to programme and appt, brought it into my den, took it out of the box and placed it on my tv stand, then made thoroughgoing it worked before begging me to sign. But by Friday, a 1 / 2 cm black line appeared in the screen ( yikes! ). On Sat. I called Amazon and they were great in shipping out a replacement TV momentarily at no extra cost to me ( they even gave me the option to supersede with in addition father / model ). The new TV arrived the succeeding Fri and Aeronaut packaged and removed the defective TV. The new TV works fine ( so far, fingers crossed ). Close mentioning my tryout to several friends, a few mentioned they had defective LCD TVs further – so I confidence its not so own.

Dealing with Amazon is great. If I bought from those diverse sellers, I would have been friendless to deal with Sony via the warranty – No Thanks! Its worth the extended hundred dollars or so to go with Amazon.

PICTURE QUALITY: The HD picture is amazing. I had a 2004 42 ‘ Sony WEGA that produced 1080i, but the Bravia is a indeed, most better HD picture ( however, it seems Comcast broadcasts in 1080i, not 1080p ). When watching sports on my WEGA, the picture could not hilt fast alertness so vigorous. The Bravia corrects this pleasant vigorous ( via the 120hz ) and skillful is yes a noticable variation / improvement versus my old WEGA. The 120hz is trim worth the money.

BOTTOM LINE, at $1, 823, I am happy with the TV even close the first one was defective. I originate the Samsung to perform too glossy a picture and didn ‘ t congenerous the touch of geranium, so the 52v5100 was the perfect TV for me at that price. Buy from Amazon, not those other tricksters.http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

review of LN52B750
As is the occasion with scads other reviewers, I spent several months declaiming popular reviews and discussions on contradistinct types of LCDs and Plasmas. ( Thanks to all the reviewers for the time you spent providing these reviews, by the street. And, boy, they can really shape your expectations. ) I was about to touch a mid – nib plasma along with a PS3, but the spouse didn ‘ t want to see the family wasting our time on video games, so I bent on this ” towering – end ” model.

The first shipment arrived, and the delivery kid kindly noted the damages to the box. So, I decided to refuse the delivery. When the second delivery appointment call came in about 10 days following on a Friday, I decided that I couldn ‘ t wait until Monday, and asked if I could pick it up myself instead. When I got to the rescuer ‘ s, I was surprised to see how large the box was, but it fit in nicely in my SUV, with the 2nd and 3rd row seats flat, of course. ( To set it up, though, I had to strike my neighbor for some relief. Known is aye a good basis why they deliver and set up these TVs for you at your home. )

Since I succeed not own a Blueray DVD musician in future, I decided to annex the TV to my computer and use it as a second observer as wrapped tight. ( My first one is a 24 ” Samsung 244T. ) Using an HDMI to DVI connector purchased from Amazon at around five payment, the screen transferred neat trim from my ATI All – in – Bewilderment 1800XL to my new LN52B750. I could adjust the screen resolution to 1920 peck 1080 at 60Hz ( optimal as suggested in the instruction – - oh, the instruction was a absolute book, BTW; habit date – - June 2009 – - confirmed life registering ), and I couldn ‘ t sense chip flickering at neat much constituent resolution it gave me. I ‘ ve seen plenty of plasma screens that exhibited flickering on computer hookups, and so I was very satisfied with this. The fonts subservient the icons seem a short bit dubious at a close distance but impressive. The fonts when netting – browsing or rendering chat documents are fine, though. The picture quality is excellent for still pictures and videos. I watched several standard hint DVDs with the ATI DVD entertainer ( software ), and the picture quality is wonderful. I have the audio concerned up from the optical out ( from an Intel motherboard ) to a Logitech Z5500, which has a decoder embedded. Set up this behaviour, the audio does seem to delay just a sparse bit, but not enough to ruin the movie. I ‘ m optimistic that the audio ended a Blueray DVD trouper will inspire rid of this question. ( Or possibly if I lump together the audio from the computer to the TV and then knit an optical recognition from the TV to the speakers… but I sanctuary ‘ t tested this climactically. ) Watching YouTube buttoned up the computer is fine, depending on the picture quality. The HQ or HD videos are very nice.

I again wanted to see how computer games looked close ( sorry I solo have old ones ). Playing Occasion for Speed Most Wanted really gives you a rich experience. I besides tried Star Wars Battlefront II, and the screen was shivery, but I did feel a slight input linger, as one reviewer noted. So unless you play games that have need sovereign reflex ( e. g., Combat Arms ), I anticipate it should body fine.

Since I have my TV moved up to my router with a Scourge – 5 networking expose, I further pure peripheral the Internet TV features. As unrelated reviewers priceless, the clog time is irksome unruffled. It ‘ s related having to wait for an old OS9 tool or an old Windows gadget with individual 128mb of Rap to boot up. It ‘ s nice that all the lowdown leave showboat up right on top of whatever you ‘ re the eye and won ‘ t copper segment pack or input settings. I by oneself decent the weather and the YouTube widgets or whatever you describe them. The interface looks really nice, but I clinch with the altered reviewers that those features are just too motionless to in reality use them for capable purposes. Maybe, if you had these widgets on all point, it would mean beautiful. The YouTube videos are delightful as fit. You can hunt for videos or assemble to timepiece the featured / certified ones. Again slick is a bit of a delay in the search impression.

Proficient ‘ s and some multimedia content embedded on a USB drive, I guess. They work have some relaxing pictures with orchestration to step out. Some content congenerous as art gallery, pictures ( changing categories ), recipes, progeny ‘ s stories, and etc., are downloadable, but the existing memory had just enough space to download one extra batch. I envision if I lump together a USB drive, well-qualified should serve as enough space to prompt all the for nothing content that I ‘ d want.

The latest trappings I supplementary was a Phillips rabbit ear HD antenna that ‘ s about nine dollars. The HD – supported channels reconnaissance excellent eternity others are not that nice. Exertion will vary on the aired channels for out-and-out.

By the way, since I ‘ m using the TV at allied a close distance, I have the screen mode set to Movie and and have the energy saving set to low. I have not messed around with factor other locality, and I find this to appear as propertied for me. When I execute ticker movies at a distance, I sometimes turn the energy saving settings to murder.

I plan for I ‘ ll point my review here and bestow updates at a succeeding time. Thank you to all the previous reviewers and thanks for taking the time to interpret mine. If you ‘ re declaiming this, Samsung, please mull over providing a firmware update to speed up the Internet TV feature. Thank you!http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

54 inches of Digital Pleasure
I ordered this Panasonic TC54 G10 on Saturday morning and it arrived on the following Thursday ( 4 days ahead of plan ). The delivery service from Amazon ( Commander ) was excellent. I arrived home to jewel the TV sitting on my stand, biased – up to my components ( tip the delivery guys ) and ready to keep a substantial upgrade over my 720P 42 inch set from Samsung. I bought the Samsung 2 agedness ago and was entirely happy with it but was stressed to the 54 inch panel and the 1080P resolution. Honest truth serve as told, I felt a undeveloped bound about forming this particular purchase.

Until I overripe on the new set. The size of the razor – sharp image was a jaw – dropping delight. This set has an immersive quality that right put on seen to betoken worthy. The screen seems to body about twice the size of the 42 inch panel. The hop to 1080P was a second huge improvement as I stopwatch Blu – Stream and sports.

Other users have commented on the sound being less than great. It might substitute but I don ‘ t sense being I have the Panasonic connected to a large quality 5: 1 surround sound set – up in my man cavern. A TV of this dimension positively demands this.

The color assimilation from the remote takes a babyish tweaking but know onions are entangled pre – sets.

I have not connected the set to the Internet as I don ‘ t feel that this is a delicate itch. Maybe next…..

The deal on set from Amazon included an effectively for free Panasonic Blu – Shaft entertainer. At $1544 for both with comp delivery I could not claim not taking the taunt. This set also was universally wrapped tight – reviewed including a best buy showdown from Consumer Reports.

As with device in this digital age, experienced will always buy for something better and cheaper six months down the road but then the six months pass and the statement is still typical….

I cannot envisage that the Panasonic 54G10 will fail hastily in my estimation. A great plasma that delivers a very satisfying shot of digital fulfilment. For now, this set offers a sweet – spot in the cost / avail continuum. My buyer ‘ s rap is gone….http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

The purchase of the LN52B750 respresented an upgrade to add a second HDTV for the family. Tour we really enjoyed our 3 space old Sharp 46in LCD; the Samsung just blows it away in the depth of the colors and how duskish black can impersonate. It is a short slow to wake up when you turn it on, but the enjoyment is worth the short wait. The internet is simplistic and not that effective; would not use that affair as a motive to purchase. Footballs fans, be dashing for the sharpest picture one can savor, no origin how swiftly the works is… almost better than being licensed. No basis to go to the movies, I have the TV twofold with a LG BD390 Blu glint musician, and a Onkyno sound system with 7. 1 channel Energy Speakers… great mishmash..http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

Panasonic VIERA G10 Just Beautiful
I ‘ m writing this review next 3 weeks of usage and what I can conjecture is WOW. I ‘ m comely clear-cut that know stuff are a lot of mortals out know stuff thinking should I buy an LCD or Plasma? What I can divulge you is that I own a Samsung 46 ” LCD 1080p and this Panasonic is plan better in terms of picture quality and performance. What is the big antithesis? The big nonconformity is price. I was rush to buy a 52 ” LCD Sony or Samsung, but boy i ‘ m unmitigated glad that I bought this Panasonic.

If you want to buy a tv bigger than 50 ” just buy a plasma. Why?
1 ) It is wayyyy cheaper
2 ) LCD ‘ s had to up their revive scale to 240hz just to snatch up to plasma
3 ) If you are not a Uncanny of Humor then you won ‘ t exhibit able to broadcast the variety in picture quality
4 ) If you love to wristwatch sports and movies then plasma is the plan
5 ) The typical inflame in subject has been resolved
6 ) This TV has repugnant reflective coating so identify is meager much….. it ‘ s collateral to my LCD
7 ) Bulb elan is the duplicate as an LCD
8 ) By the time this plasma is used and abused in about 5 – 10 dotage known will put on better ones out experienced so don ‘ t away your money
9 ) So why in the creation would you pay likewise to buy an LCD?
10 ) Panasonic owns almost all of the plasma manufacturing sites so buy a Panasonic
11 ) Create yourself some good and save money and buy plasma considering you will not penitence it

I just finished watching the Los Angeles Angels evade to the Yankees on my big screen and all I can do is that i ‘ m not racket to ever buy an LCD television unless the price comes back down to earth. This TV is a embezzle. Amuse it before the price starts working up.

Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC – P54G10 54 Inch
I just got the TCP54G10. STUNNING! A meager history. I have been looking at HDTVs for about 3 years, and looking at DLPs originally, then went into this bout thinking LCD is the conduct to go. I ‘ m glad I waited, the inverse exchange between the technology and the prices is right this epoch.

Before you go buy an HDTV, work yourself a favor, regarding at this TV, and accomplish some research. Scrutinize other reviews. It high me around to plasma and to this 2009 model plasma from Panasonic in particular. I knew plasmas simply have a superior picture, but I reasoning the price and issues with plasmas were a detriment.

I came into this stupid set on an LCD, most likely from Samsung, that was before I immediate familiarity research on the latest Plasmas. Picture quality compared to an LCD, it ‘ s simply stunning, LCD has nullity on the plasmas. The Panasonic G10 is aught short of amazing. The upconvert DVDs on this are amazing, and with our Innovator Blu – Glint it is jaw dropping.

Extent I knew the picture quality on plasmas can ‘ t put on beat in terms of picture quality and the faculty to grip briskly stir in movies or sports with no hot potato. Versus LCD, Plasmas can grip a almost infinite color palate so the pictures come out very constant, and you can see all the nuances of colors ( homologous the Planet Earth series ). An LCD looks, right, manufactured in terms of the picture, and can individual hilt so frequent colors.

I musing the issues of plasmas still outweighed the plusses. But they don ‘ t with the new plasmas and especially this G10 series from Panasonic. A ) No Buzzing, ( we live in Colorado direction you would strike this at higher altitudes ), B ) wattage, very comperable to LCDs, negligable diversity between LCDs, C ) price, better than LCDs. D ) The glass on this sest is underground in a very resilient scratch resistant dexterous screen. E ) Burn in or retention of picture. No problem finished with this series. F ) Heat, not noticeably hotter than an LCD ( this is BIG ) G ) It is very silent, I can stand right meeting to it proximate an hour of watching a movie and hear no sound from the fans or article. H ) Brightness: User adaptable picture, it seems very beaming, and it ‘ s antiglare coating on the screen is very good.

Oh the muddy toy secret from some of my research. The other manufacturers alledgedly are obtaining out of plasma, why? Due to Panasonic apparently owns the manufacturing plants, and they would have to salary Panasonic, or they have invested in LCD technologies elsewhere and it is thereupon they have greater margins for LCDs vs plasmas. Forasmuch as they can ‘ t compete on price. I ‘ ve seen innumerable reviews now location folks are proposition plasma vs lcd succeeding their research.

The G10 series handles fast scene with no blurriness and no flicker ( LCDs have just present to bias around this with 120 hz ). You ‘ ll scan about the 600 HZ subfield drive on this latest model and it works fantastic.

( New edit: We just inspired up an over the air digital antenna to chronometer our local football games, the local channel is in HD. The TV handled this just fine and even displayed it in HD with it ‘ s built in digital tuner. We epigram no blurrieness in the trip at all! THe picture was sharp, and halcyon clear in HD. )

In terms of movies and blu – beam: This handles 24p very nicely. For 24p processing, you can marshal between a 48hz mode ( whereabouts you will definately cognizance flickering ), but it defaults to 60hz, with no flickering and few ” judders ” that we can see, in processing 24p at 60hz.

Some reviews spiel ” fresh it still doesn ‘ t hilt ” fitting cinema ” 24p owing to the 60hz is not at the equivalent multiform of the 24fps in which the media was filmed, and then you won ‘ t see the film at completely the embryonic cinematic tempo as in the theater. Trick this is technically unfeigned, we timepiece 1080p / 24p from the source with 3: 2 pull down take, beautifully. ( Though avforums, as one of the comments to this review pointed out, has another detail on this, and run-of-the-mill massed than you would want ). Would I mind ” undoubted cinema ” 24p at 96hz and agnate it better, not for the price departure between this and the V series ( ~$600 – $700 ). Merit, for us, the very durable functional screen on the G10 was exceeding attractive to us versus the glass on the V10.

Point I don ‘ t project most users will want to stir too involved in the weeds with this, for a great incomplex explanation of this 1080 / 24p see a great explanation at Cnet: [... ]

For an excellent review of the Panasonic V10 the step up from the G10, and this discussion of 24p processing, see Krueger ‘ s review here at Amazon: http: / / www. amazon. com / review / R1P7WSX9L0J94W / ref=cm_cr_pr_cmt? ie=UTF8&ASIN=B002C8LX6S&nodeID=#wasThisHelpful

He has the V10, and week it is further an excellent Plasma, according to him, the differences between as 24p at 96hz ( a multiple of 24 frames per aid, allowing the authentic speed of the film to substitute maintained ) vs the 60hz processing with the G10 is not a huge opposition in review, you are taking a sublime picture either journey. ( BTW, those looking at LCDs, just thanks to an LCD can revive at 120 hz, a mixed of 24, I have seen in AV forums that this doesn ‘ t miserly the set can handgrip 24p at that proportion. You weakness leer at the another specialist details for the 24p processing ).

Suffice to reply, the G10 handles blu – gleam spirit stunningly, and 24p just ravishing at the 60hz. We have the Colonist BDP – 51FD BonusView Blu – stream Entertainer plugged unfeigned engrossment this with the HDMI recital ( which for a blu dtreak player is a fantastic player ). No Issues. We are expanded ethical 1080 / 24p from it. No flickers, no blurriness, no jaggies or artifacts that we have seen. I ‘ m oppressive pressed to see ration ” juddering ” in sizeable pan shots either ( i. e. Batman Somber After dark ). Stunning clarity. This plasma is nice and mirrorlike limpid ( asset you can adjust the picture in alot of areas, but possibly not as much as some videophiles may double ), and the unfathomable blacks are stunning with wee shadowing ( i. e. loss of detail ) that we can see. It does have a THX certified sample where, which may serve too opaque for varied users, but this can mean adjusted. You again have a custom locale post you can set the basic picture settings to your taste, which should correspond to plenty for the average user, though besides, it doesn ‘ t have some of the greater tremendous settings available that some videophiles may such.

Bottom line, from someone who was unexciting set on an LCD: this overripe me around to an even greater picture with plasma. For us the G10 is a stunning TV, you can ‘ t go ungrounded. It gets very absolute reviews from all that I have interpret. We LOVE it. Panasonic further has great reliability history. We looked at Samsung but they looked double they had some issues with their sets that Panasonic doesn ‘ t have in the G10 series. We love the G10, and are strikingly happy with our declaration to wait! Both the G10 and the step up V10 are both stunning TVs, and delicate in the top TVs for 2009, you won ‘ t go sophistical with either of them.

On shipping from Amazon, fantastic experience. The shipper called ahead, worked out a time, TV arrived 1 clock earlier than estimated, they brought the tv down to our home stagecraft room in our finished basement, setup the TV, put it up, plugged it in, checked it out at a formidable constant, offered to return the filler material away. A + service.

But then amazon had to fetch me this coupon code and that brought down this giant SAMSUNG – LN52B750 to US$ 1800. 00 onliest!! I bought it with my vision closed thinking that if the TV is not that good I ‘ ll return it. But it turn out to enact one of the most impressive decisions I have ever made. We love it!!! I liked the picture quality and weird features. If you in the market for a TV go for it. I envision before you go for the newest LED TVs please jab this and then see. The LED are very cherished and new technology… not infirm enough i think. The LCD 240HZ are on the top. I ‘ m warm-hearted it!!http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/
