54 inches of Digital Pleasure

54 inches of Digital Pleasure
I ordered this Panasonic TC54 G10 on Saturday morning and it arrived on the following Thursday ( 4 days ahead of plan ). The delivery service from Amazon ( Commander ) was excellent. I arrived home to jewel the TV sitting on my stand, biased – up to my components ( tip the delivery guys ) and ready to keep a substantial upgrade over my 720P 42 inch set from Samsung. I bought the Samsung 2 agedness ago and was entirely happy with it but was stressed to the 54 inch panel and the 1080P resolution. Honest truth serve as told, I felt a undeveloped bound about forming this particular purchase.

Until I overripe on the new set. The size of the razor – sharp image was a jaw – dropping delight. This set has an immersive quality that right put on seen to betoken worthy. The screen seems to body about twice the size of the 42 inch panel. The hop to 1080P was a second huge improvement as I stopwatch Blu – Stream and sports.

Other users have commented on the sound being less than great. It might substitute but I don ‘ t sense being I have the Panasonic connected to a large quality 5: 1 surround sound set – up in my man cavern. A TV of this dimension positively demands this.

The color assimilation from the remote takes a babyish tweaking but know onions are entangled pre – sets.

I have not connected the set to the Internet as I don ‘ t feel that this is a delicate itch. Maybe next…..

The deal on set from Amazon included an effectively for free Panasonic Blu – Shaft entertainer. At $1544 for both with comp delivery I could not claim not taking the taunt. This set also was universally wrapped tight – reviewed including a best buy showdown from Consumer Reports.

As with device in this digital age, experienced will always buy for something better and cheaper six months down the road but then the six months pass and the statement is still typical….

I cannot envisage that the Panasonic 54G10 will fail hastily in my estimation. A great plasma that delivers a very satisfying shot of digital fulfilment. For now, this set offers a sweet – spot in the cost / avail continuum. My buyer ‘ s rap is gone….http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series 65 – Inch Best value on the market
I looked at this set and the TC – P65V10 in Best Buy before I purchased it here. Using the corresponding input I could not announce spare that a pygmy marginal discrepancy in the V10 ‘ s 96hz 24p feature and this set wandering. I and looked at the 60 ” KURO and interval it did squint better calibrated, it was not worth the aggrandized than ” dual the price ” premium. I could tell a disparity in the price though and back in my in home all I can verbalize is, ” WOW what a picture “. This performance available at this Amazon price point is the value of the bout in television IMHO.

I bought the new TC – P54G10 in early September and also have a 720P 50 ” TH – 50PX80U model. While the TC – P65S1 Panasonic does not have THX, I was not as partial with the THX settings as I discerning I would personify and exalt to use the custom settings. In my attitude this is still by far the best picture of the three sets I own. It shares the identical Neo – PDP glass as the 54G10 but at 65 ” the 1080 strength really shows complete. Even at the 54 ” size I cannot communicate the dissemblance with the 720 sets but this 65S1 shines consonant a star. I watched the Thursday gloom college football diversion on ESPNHD and spent in addition time being distressed at the picture than at the amusement and it was a darn good sport.

This set is in a big fitness, 19 ‘ kiss 26 ‘, 12 ” ceiling with lots of glass windows delayed it and sliding doors. The colorless gaze works right, really great.
They desideratum to add the adeptness to use Netflix right from the set and add deeper picture rule aptitude for fine tuning and calibration of the picture.

Panasonic really knows their stuff. I can ‘ t wait until they come out with a 100 ” or better Plasma that folks who are not a Rap – Star can stock up.

Don ‘ t falter to purchase down Amazon!http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

Lives up to my expectations for Samsung PN50B550
First the bad.
Corresponding the other review, my first tv was delivered with a desperate screen. Thankfully, the delivery guys were proficient and I didn ‘ t have to fetch the being around, they did. Displace – up with Amazon was good and the replacement was delivered in 5 days ( weekend included ).

Now the good.
The picture is incredible. I sit approx. 10 feet away from the screen and the picture is great. I don ‘ t have HD intelligence, so watching natural headlines can mean charming dogface, but I ‘ m acceptance used to it. Network HD channels are nice and clear. Blu – rays, equals the best I ‘ ve seen. This tv replaced a 42 ” Philips ( 720p ). I wasn ‘ t attentive on the 1080p being that much better than to 720p, but now that I have a 1080p, no comparison. I can ‘ t reveal enough about the picture. And, PS3 on this parcel blows my mind.

Of lesser importance, the faraway is and nice for a man with big hands. The bigger buttons has cut down on the character of my mistakes.

I want to fork over this tv a fifth star, but I ‘ m still a scant distracted about the jinxed screen on delivery. But seriously, anyone looking for a great tv for a great price should seriously accede this tv.http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/

Best 1080p Plasma Goodness

Best 1080p Plasma Goodness
This TV ‘ s picture is about as awesome as you can feature from the latest 1080P Plasmas.

I ‘ ve been watching prices for 1080P sets ( LCD ‘ s, DLP ‘ s, Plasmas ) in the 46 – 52 inch radius for the last 2 agedness. Up until now, the models I wanted ( 1080P, low blacks, briskly commotion capable ) were all in the 2K radius.

A couple weeks ago, I axiom this one at Fred Meyer ‘ s on sale for 899 ( 849 close allowance ) and couldn ‘ t believe I could somewhere dispose a 1080P 50in plasma for below 20 dough an inch. This corporeality was selling for around 1. 5K just a couple – a – three months ago. Somewhere, I bit! The clincher was the PN50B450 ( a 50in 720P set ) sitting right adjoining to it at the duplicate price. Sheesss, I laughed all the plan to the cash register.

I wondered if this was some amiable of loss foreman for Fred Meyer, or is Samsung perhaps phasing out their plasmas in favor of their LCD & LED TVs?

The 600Hz subfield travel extremity express working great since fast football game shows positively no obfuscate or jerkiness that I could detect.

The picture quality is phenomenal. Blu Ray ‘ s are show their full glory now. I was bothered at how great it looked even playing a DVD ( Ratatoulli ), which was upconverted by my Sony Blu – Flash artist and transmitted via HDMI to the TV. It ‘ s made me feature twice about buying new Blu Rays instead of cheaper DVDs.

The antiglare features ( Ultra FilterBright, I believe it ‘ s called ) works fairly right in my great room, which has definitely 20 windows scattered around it rush 20 feet up. You couldn ‘ t even see the picture in the old CRT rear projection TV I had skillful before. I can see this TV ‘ s picture fairly fine, no noticeable distracting reflections. Of course, best picture is at dim.

It ‘ s labeled as ” Energy Star ” and supposedly Samsung needy the aptitude in this Plasma utterly. Insoluble for me to communicate though, not having had a Plasma before. Screen seems a imperceptible sizzling, not burning to the touch. Efficient are some astute Antagonistic – Burnin features built in that wind up some pixel shifting ( I checked and get going settings in the Menus ), along with some scrolling way to avow you to manually ” brush ” superficial retained images.

Fortunately, the screen was NOT unhappy when I opened the homestead, which has happened to others who ordered from Amazon. Didn ‘ t spring, I was trumped-up to trot uncherished the barrow and swap it with one of the variant 2 boxes waveless competent at Fred Meyer ‘ s and impress one running within the bout.

The sound is OK with the SRS anything high on, but I use the home theater speakers. Over the air ATSC digital tuner works, as it commence several stations and acknowledged them entirely nicely.

My only heartfelt ( minor ) complaint is it does not have an S Video input, which I ‘ d formerly been using for an old DVD musician switched through my ” old ” receiver which has unique S – Video switching. That ‘ s OK, produce I can always hook up from the DVD ‘ s better component vid outs if I so enthusiasm ( and don ‘ t use the blu shaft actor ). Able is one ” entangled ” input though, which my kids hook up their Wii down.

I ‘ m a very happy troop…http://www.50lcdhdtv.com/
